Narrow
from Name Above All, Part I

Narrow, Narrow, narrow is the heavenly gate
Narrow, narrow, the path that you must take
Broad is the road that leads to death,
Many there have trod, but
Narrow, narrow, narrow is the path to God

Led from the crowd at Pilate’s hall,
Beaten, bruised and scorned
There was a wooden cross upon his back
On his head a crown of thorns
Led up a winding mountain path
To a hill called Calvary
He walked that way of suffering
So all the world could see

Narrow, Narrow, narrow is the heavenly gate
Narrow, narrow, the path that you must take
Broad is the road that leads to death, and
Many there have trod, but
Narrow, narrow, narrow is the path to God

Your mom and dad can’t go for you
You alone must choose
Your praying friends can’t drag you in
There’s only room for two
Hand in hand, just you and Christ
The truth, the light, the way
He’ll lead you to the Promised Land
Then you too can say

Narrow, Narrow, narrow is the heavenly gate
Narrow, narrow, the path that you must take
Broad is the road that leads to death, and
Many there have trod, but
Narrow, narrow, narrow is the path to God

Money, it can’t buy a home
In that land up in the sky
That’s like trying to lead a
Camel through a needle’s eye
The world says there are many paths
That lead to Heaven’s shore, but
Calvary is the narrow way
And Jesus is the door

Narrow, Narrow, narrow is the heavenly gate
Narrow, narrow, the path that you must take
Broad is the road that leads to death, and
Many there have trod, but
Narrow, narrow, narrow is the path to God

Broad is the road that leads to death, and
Many there have trod, but
Narrow, narrow,
Narrow, narrow
Narrow, narrow
narrow is the path to God
